Amitabh Bachchan’s Majestic Investment: A New Plot in Ayodhya worth rupees 14.5 crores.
In a surprising and delightful turn of events, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has made headlines yet again, not for his cinematic achievements, but for a significant real estate investment. The legendary actor recently purchased a new plot in the sacred city of Ayodhya, adding a touch of stardom to the historical and cultural significance of the region.
As per reports, the senior Bachchan has bought the plot in a seven-star enclave in Ayodhya, The Sarayu, is developed by the Mumbai based The House of Abhinandan Lodha(HoABL). The piece of land is measured around 10,000 sq. ft. and is valued at a whopping rupees 14.5 crores, as per real estate industry experts.
The Sarayu, spread over 51 acres, will be formally inaugurated on January 22, the day the grand consecration ceremony of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple will be held in Ayodhya.
It is about 15 minutes away from the temple and half an hour from the airport, according to the developer. The project is expected to be completed by March 2028 and have a five-star palace hotel.
While the Bachchan family has maintained strong ties with the city of Allahabad (now Prayagraj), Amitabh’s decision to invest in Ayodhya has left fans and industry insiders curious about the actor’s connection to the holy city.
